In an effort to promote excellence in research on technical safety, occupational health, and environmental sustainability, FSTI is hosting ISTESHE 2024 to provide a platform to produce, nurture and sustain a culture revolving around these areas. This event serves as a benchmark for the faculty to facilitate knowledge sharing on current issues and the latest research findings related to ensuring safe and healthy working environments.

ISTESHE 2024 will be a two-day symposium comprising plenary and parallel sessions in a hybrid format - first day will be face-to-face and second day will be online mode. The theme for the event is “Synergizing Technical Safety, Occupational Health, and Sustainability: Driving Progress Towards a Safer and Healthier Working Environment”.

       Participants can submit abstracts and full papers covering but not limited to diverse topics under categories like industrial process safety, occupational health management, environmental engineering and sustainability, safety policies and culture.      In addition to paper presentations, the event will host eminent keynote speakers from academia, regulatory agencies and leading industries who will be sharing their knowledge and experiences to align with the symposium theme and enable wider capacity building.
