BACKGROUND
The International Symposium of Technical Safety, Occupational Health and Environment (ISTeSHE) is a signature academic and professional initiative organized by the Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology (FIST) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).
Following the successful inaugural event in 2024, the symposium returns for its second edition in 2026 with the theme "Transforming Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Practices for a Resilient and Sustainable Future". ISTeSHE serves as a strategic benchmark for UMPSA to foster a sustainable culture of safety and health across organizations both in Malaysia and internationally. By gathering professionals, academics and postgraduate students, the program facilitates the exchange of current research and industrial expertise in the critical fields of technical safety, occupational health, and emvironmental management.
