Background
In an effort to promote excellence in scientific and technological research, particularly in the fields of technical safety, occupational health, and the environment, the Faculty of Industrial Sciences and Technology (FSTI) will organize ISTeSHE 2026 for the second time, following the success of its first edition in 2024.
The organization of this symposium also aims to generate, nurture, and sustain a culture of technical safety, occupational health, and environmental stewardship across organizations, particularly in Malaysia and at the international level.
ISTESHE 2026
ISTESHE 2026 will be conducted through online platform. The theme for the event is “Transforming Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Practices for a Resilient and Sustainable Future”.
Participants can submit abstracts and full papers covering but not limited to diverse topics under categories like industrial process safety, occupational health management, environmental engineering and sustainability, safety policies and culture. Key dates, guidelines and more details regarding call for papers are provided in the designated section.
In addition to paper presentations, the event will host eminent keynote speakers from academia, regulatory agencies and leading industries who will be sharing their knowledge and experiences to align with the symposium theme and enable wider capacity building.
